The Trump administration is expected to make a big announcement in the coming days: a relocation of the US from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The much-anticipated move has been promised ever since Trump took office in January. Vice President Mike Pence said the president is "actively considering" moving the embassy, calling it a matter of "when and how."
"The president has also made clear that he intends to move the United States embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. It is not a question of if, it is a question of when," said US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman. "And I take the president at his word, and I'm personally committed to do all that I can to advocate for this move."
