Christmas Is Cancelled In Jesus' Hometown, Nazareth

Dec 15, 2017 by Abigail Sanchez

The city Jesus grew up in, Nazareth, is throwing a fit because of the recent embassy move. The mayor, Ali Salem is canceling Christmas to protest Trump.

In a press conference Thursday, Salem said that Trump moving the embassy “has taken away the joy of the holiday, and we will thus cancel the festivities this year.”

This includes canceling a parade, concerts, the Christmas market, and the fun of thousands of visitors. But Salem believes that what Trump did is too offensive to continue with normal celebrations. He said that Trump “stabbed Palestinians in the back”.

Many consider this move an end to any chance of a peace agreement since a solution has not been presented to include Palestine in Jerusalem’s future.
