Stella Morabito, a historian of the Soviet Union and a former intelligence professional, issued a severe warning in a video published to Facebook about the "programming" children receive in school designed to inhibit critical thought and promote allegiance to political correctness and LGBT ideology. In her presentation to the Family Research Council, Morabito addressed the content and processes of a group called CASEL, the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning.
According to the FRC, "'social emotional learning' (SEL) is a new catchphrase that now permeates public education policy." Critics argue that it will eventually lead to mandatory conformity to political correctness and will amount to a "massive, state-sponsored propaganda operation intended to isolate and control people, including kids, about how to feel and relate to people."
