President Trump Responds To Pipe Bomb Attempts: "We Must Come Together"

In a statement on the series of attempted pipe bombings of several prominent liberals and Democrat politicians, President Donald Trump condemned the attacks and called for Americans to unite against political violence: "We have to come together and send one clear, and strong message that acts of threats or political violence have no place in the United States of America."

"The full weight of our government will conduct this investigation and bring those responsible for these despicable acts to justice," the President said, weighing in on the issue during a White House event on the opioid crisis.

A slew of pipe bombs and other suspicious packages have been discovered en route or at the residences and offices of a growing list of vocal opponents of the President, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, CNN, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Rep. Maxine Waters, Robert DeNiro, and George Soros.

There have been no explosions and no reports of injuries.
