Australian Powermom Gives Birth To Massive Baby

Nikki Bell truly is a power mom! The Australian mother gave birth to her son Parker, who weighed over 12.4 lb. It was the most massive baby the staff at the Blacktown Hospital in Sydney had ever encountered. Nikki didn't use any painkillers during labor.

The doctors had predicted the heavy weight of the baby since they discovered the little boy already was past 7 lb during a 24-week growth scan. Nikki, however, was quite down-to-earth about the whole event. "I’m sure all births hurt," the 28-year-old mom said to The Mercury. "Whether it’s 1.7kg of 5.7kg — they all hurt."

Baby Parker is a giant baby, but luckily the big boy is healthy as well. Parker's parents Nikki and Michael and his big sister Maddison (20 months) are thrilled with this new addition to their little family. Michael and Nicker are continually thinking of scenarios in which Parker's height will work to his advantage. "Hopefully he will be a bit of a football player," Nikki jokingly said. "Maybe even a front rower, that’ll keep his dad happy."
