They Said Her Baby Died At Birth. 69 Years Later, She Found Her!

In 1949, at just 18 years old, Genevieve Purinton gave birth to a little girl. "When I said I wanted to see the baby, they told me she died." Now, at age 88, Purinton thought she had no one else in the world, until her daughter showed up at her doorstep!

After 69 years Purinton was reunited with her daughter, Connie Moultroup, Fox13 News reported. "It's been a lifetime of wanting this," Moultroup said. I remember being 5 years old, wishing I could find my mother."

Moultroup, who came from Vermont to meet her mother in Florida, received an AncestryDNA kit as a Christmas gift last year. With it, she found a cousin she'd never known before. She gave the cousin her mother's name, which is all she knew of Purinton, and that cousin identified Purinton as her aunt!

After her tearful reunion with her daughter, as well as the discovery of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Purinton live the rest of her days knowing that she is loved!
