Shocking: 'Jeopardy!' Host Alex Trebek Diagnosed With Stage-4 Cancer

Very sad news for the host of one of the most popular shows in the United States "Jeopardy", Alex Trebek, has shared that he is battling stage-4 cancer. Christian Post reports on how Trebek announced this shocking news via Social Media.

Trebek, who is 78, shared a video last Wednesday. He wanted to be the one to share the news and that's why he chose to release this message so he could be transparent with his fans.

"Just like 50,000 people in the United States each year, this week I was diagnosed with stage-4 pancreatic cancer. Now normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging but I'm going to fight this. And I'm going to keep working," he said.

So help me. Keep the faith and we’ll win

Trebek asks his fans to pray and keep the faith while he fights this battle: “So help me. Keep the faith and we’ll win. We’ll get it done,”

Trebek has been a spokesperson for Christian humanitarian group World Vision for many years, traveling with and advocating for the organization in dozens of television programs.
