Tornado Nearly Destroys Entire Church But 40 Kids Praising Jesus Remain Untouched

Last week in Paducah, KY a devastating Tornado hit the city, and CBN News reports of a miraculous story. Amongst many destructions of buildings and properties was also a church building where 40 preschool kids and 10 church staff were going about their day, but the miracle is that no one was killed or injured even though the roof was ripped off. Pretty much every room was in rubble except the room they were hiding in!

When the dangerous twister hit the city, the pre-school of Mt. Zion Baptist Church was in full session and the director saw no other way than to immediately bring the 40 children to safety into the innermost room. As they were in the midst of the storm they tried to stay calm and sang songs like: "Jesus Loves Me" and "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands".

"We just give God the glory that no one was hurt."

Church member Sylvia Cherry said, "We just give God the glory that no one was hurt." The church is grateful the children and staff were all safe and were protected from any harm.

Sheriff Matt Carter stated: "This could have been an extremely high fatality rate, and we're very fortunate and blessed to only report that one minor injury,"
