Chinese Man Given 10 Months In Prison For Printing Christian Literature

A Chinese man has been sentenced to 10 months in prison and fined $1,451.00 dollars for printing Christian literature. Li pleaded guilty and confessed that he had committed a “grave crime.” The judge insisted the sentence was quite lenient and could have been much harsher, reports Persecution.org.

Li’s wife had written a letter to the court detailing their families poor economic situation. Li had been found with 110,000 copies of Christian literature which he had produced. China is in the midst of a crackdown on religious activity and prison sentences for the production of Christian literature are becoming more common.
