The whole concept of divine judgement is seldom addressed in the modern evangelical Church - it makes people nervous. As a result, Universalist views have been ebbing their way into mainstream theological thinking. But Bible teacher Francis Chan wants to set the record straight on this one.
He asks the convicting question: how could a loving and perfect God NOT also be a just judge? The God of the Bible is both a loving Father and also a righteous judge. "Half the people in the Church don't even believe that a judgement is coming. And I go "man, do you ever read the Bible?" says Chan.
