Popular Fox News presented and 'The O'Reilly Factor' host Bill O'Reilly has been fired from his role at the news network over several accusations of sexual harassment. The move comes just a day after an anonymous woman accused O’Reilly of sexual and racial harassment.
Just a few week ago, reports surfaced that Fox News has paid out a massive $13 million in settlements due to other sexual harassment claims made against O’Reilly, according to Heavy. The conservative Christian and fiery anchor said his firing was "tremendously disheartening" as it was a result of "completely unfounded claims."
"That is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today," he said in a statement. O'Reilly had also been previously accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy. O’Reilly denied the allegations and labelled them as “100-percent false."
