Video Clip Reveals Tebow Asked Brady To 'Look Out' For Convicted Murderer Aaron Hernandez
The shocking news that former Patriot's tight end and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez had committed suicide in his prison cell broke yesterday. Not only this, but Aaron reportedly scrawled Bible passage John 3:16 on his forehead and a Bible was discovered by his body. His lawyers and family remain adamant that he did not commit suicide.
"There were no conversations or correspondence from Aaron to his family or legal team that would have indicated anything like this was possible," said Hernandez's attorney Jose Baez. "Aaron was looking forward to an opportunity for a second chance to prove his innocence."
However, it has been reported that notes found next to Aaron reveal he had been planning it for weeks.
The former football star even allegedly gave away most of his personal belongings to fellow inmates and covered the floor of his cell in soap, according to a well-paced source, reports The Daily Mail. If he lost his nerve he wouldn't be able to save himself as he would slip around and not be able to grip the floor.
It has also been revealed that Christian and former gators teammate Tim Tebow tried to get Hernandez on the straight and narrow when they were playing together in college. Tebow also attempted to stop Hernandez from punching a restaurant employee back in 2009.
A video has also surfaced of Tebow and Brady discussing Hernandez, and how they will try and direct him on the right path, reports New York Times. “I’m trying to watch over Aaron and Brandon,” Brady said to Tebow. “I appreciate that, too, man,” Tebow responded. “They’re good guys.”
Tom was due to attend the White House yesterday to celebrate the Patriot's Superbowl win, but when news of Hernandez's death broke, he decided not to go.
