That being said, as Christians, we must be careful not to entertain the same sort of attitudes.
"Do we do the same thing?" asks Brown.
"See, we need to sit down and have a dialogue with people we differ with. We need to hear them out and ask them to hear us out."
"We've gotta do a better job of being more consistent with our moral outrage," urges Brown.
"We have got to guard against hypocrisy!"
Ellen, Brown argues, is basically saying "give me the right to be who I am but I'm not gonna give you the right to be who you are."
