Planned Parenthood Forced To Close Three Further Clinics In New Mexico

May 19, 2017 by Will Maule

Abortion provider Planned Parenthood has been forced to close a further three clinics in New Mexico since losing much of its government funding. President Trump has consistently promised to defund the multi-million dollar business if it continues to carry out abortions.

Planned Parenthood centers in Farmington, Rio Rancho and Nob Hill in Albuquerque will close this fall, according to LifeNews. “Funding is one thing that we look at, but we also look at whether our patients will receive excellent care at another provider, or most importantly, come see us in any of our health centers throughout the state,” Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains CEO Adrienne Mansanares said.

Earlier this year, Planned Parenthood leaders refused an offer to receive an increase in taxpayer funding if the group stopped doing abortions.
