President Trump: 'I Marvelled At God's Presence'

President Donald Trump has given a powerful address at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, explaining his encounter with God at the Western Wall, and reiterating his commitment to the state of Israel and the Jewish people. Reports indicate that the President left a note in the crack of the sacred wall as he prayer, and now he has revealed his experience of God in that moment.

"Yesterday I visited the Western Wall and marvelled at this monument to God's presence and man's perseverance. I was humbled to place my hand upon the wall and to pray in that holy space for wisdom from God," Trump told the audience.

"I also prayed at the Church of the holy sepulchre. A site revered by Christians," said the President. Trump then talked about placing a wreath at the Holocaust memorial, and pledged "never again," indicating his commitment to the protection of the Jewish people."

"Israel is a testament to the unbreakable spirit of the Jewish people. From all parts of this great country, one message resounds: that is the message of hope. Down through the ages, the Jewish people have suffered persecution." 

"But through it all, they have endured, and in fact, they have thrived. I stand in awe of the accomplishments of the Jewish people."

"I make this promise to you: my administration will always stand with Israel."
