FBI Discovers 'Hit List' On Body Of GOP Shooter, Steve Scalise Recovering

The FBI have revealed that they discovered a 'hit list' of top Republican politicians on the body of 66-year-old James Hodgkinson who opened fire on a GOP baseball practice. The list of names included Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks, South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan and Arizona Rep. Trent Franks.

"I have been notified there is an investigation I might be involved in. There has been a sharpened awareness," Rep. Franks said of the list. Congressman Steve Scalise was struck in the hip during the shooting, and has undergone several surgeries to repair internal damage and prevent further bleeding. His condition has now been upgraded from 'critical' to 'serious.'

“He is more responsive, and is speaking with his loved ones,” MedStar Washington Hospital said in an email Saturday, according to Bloomberg. “The Scalise family greatly appreciates the outpouring of thoughts and prayers.”
