Former NFL Quarterback Kurt Warner has given all the credit to Jesus Christ after being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. "Well, first things first, I've got to thank my Lord and Savior up above," Warner opened up. "Thank you, Jesus!"
It wasn't all plain sailing for the former Cardinal and Rams player, who had to take a long route to NFL success, playing in Europe, the Arena Football League and even stocking shelves at a grocery store in between. But he went on to win two NFL MVP awards and became a household name.
“People say Hollywood couldn’t have written it any better,” Warner noted of his unlikely success. “After this, they don’t have a chance.”
Fondly recalling when he was victorious as the 2000 Super Bowl MVP, he thanked Jesus once again to finish.
“His final moment was for me, my final moment is for Him. Thank you, Jesus!” Wagner boldly proclaimed on stage in Canton, Ohio.
