The Man Who Led Nabeel Qureshi To Christ Challenges Muslims Who Say Allah Cursed Him

Theologian and the man who led Nabeel Qureshi from Islam to Christ, David Wood, has challenged the many Muslims who are celebrating Nabeel's death, and who believe that Allah cursed him with stomach cancer. Wood compares the last words of Jesus, Muhammad, and Qureshi in a new video, and opens up a dialogue with those who are engaging in such a heinous assertion.

Jesus said in Luke 23:24 'Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.' "This is the same Jesus who said You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous,"" says David.

"He asked the Father to forgive people who had tortured, mocked and crucified him."

So, what about Muhammad's final message? "We get to Muhammad who was poisoned by a Jewish woman whose family had been slaughtered by Muslims. Muhammad didn't swallow enough poison to kill him quickly, but the poison did cause internal damage leaving him in ever-increasing agony," explains Wood.

"As Muhammad lay dying, what message did he want to pass on? 'When the last moment of the life of Allah's messenger came, he said 'May Allah curse the Jews and Christians,'" says Wood.

"Muhammad's dying prayer was for Jews and Christians to be cursed."

Then, Wood comes to his best friend, Nabeel, who converted from Islam to Christianity.

"We can see the impact Jesus had on Nabeel in his last recorded words. Nabeel's internal organs were riddled with cancer, his stomach removed," explains Wood. "The doctors had given up on him and had stopped feeding him. He understood that they were just going to keep him heavily drugged until he died. This was his last chance to share something with the world, and what was his concern? He wanted everyone to know something about the God that he served."

"Our God is a God of love, and that should be what keeps us driven," Qureshi declared at the end of his final video post. "Whether you're talking to a Hindu, a Jew, a Muslim, a Christian, whoever you're talking to, may it be out of love."

Wood highlights the stark differences between these three messages. "Jesus final message before death: Father forgive these people for torturing me, spitting on me and nailing me to this cross."

"Nabeel's final message: God is a God of love and if I haven't seen loving enough towards you, please forgive me."

"Muhammad's final message; Allah's curse be upon Jews, Christians, and Muslims."

"In the words we learned on Sesame Street: 'one of these men is not like the others,'" says Wood.

"I've seen some Muslims boasting about Nabeel's death and who say it proves he was cursed by Allah. Notice their obsession with Allah cursing Jews and Christians. I wonder where that came from!"

Wood's invites 'every Muslim in the world' to share what they think of Nabeel's death in the comments. "I will share two things with you," Wood says. "One, a bunch of information about your prophet you never knew because your leaders hide it from you."

"And two, some indisputable proof that my loyalty to my friends does not end at death."
